  • This program is built for the outliers. It is built for those who expect more from their rehab. Who expect to not only recover from their ACL tear, but exceed it. So they are a better athlete after their tear, or can continue to live an active lifestyle.

  • You will have access to your ACL Expert 5 days a week. We will always be here for you throughout the entire process.

  • Get feedback on your exercise execution through in app video form checks.

  • Not everyone is the same. The program will be adjusted to your needs as you progress, and based on your goals. 

  • Weekly check ins to address and questions or concerns you might have.

  • Be apart of the ORIGIN ACL Team. Monthly Conference calls with other ORIGIN ACL members so you know you are not alone in this process.

Jake found his passion for health and fitness through sports. Competing at the collegiate level in football, Jake experienced multiple injuries, and setbacks, which brought him to physical therapy. After realizing how physical therapy can change a person’s life by giving them the power to take control of their health, and improve their quality of life, Jake was sold on becoming a physical therapist.
 
After receiving his bachelors degree in exercise science Jake began coaching strength and conditioning programs at the high school level where he was able to gain valuable in experience working with high school athletes in every sport. 
 
Jake continued to work with athletes while completing his physical therapy degree Des Moines University. Jake applied for a sports medicine rotation while in school where he was able to beat out over 400 other physical therapy students across the country. During this rotation Jake gained valuable experience working with some of the best NFL, college, and high school athletes who were recovering from their ACL tears. 
 
After graduating from physical therapy school Jake began working in travel physical therapy in an outpatient orthopedic clinic. Jake quickly realized physical therapy in this setting was not what he had signed up for. Jake noticed a strong disconnect between the level of care ACL athletes were provided at big box physical therapy clinics, and what he had learned working with the best.
 
Lack of 1:1 care for patient’s, insurance limitations, and pressure by management to push patients into scheduling more visits than what they needed. This led to patients running out of visits before they were anywhere close to being ready to return to sports after their ACL tear.  Time after time Jake saw athletes being taken advantage of by a healthcare system that did not care about their health.
 
This prompted Jake to create ORIGIN ACL, a physical therapy company built around providing high quality care, tailored to the specific needs of athletes, and active individuals who tore their ACL, without any barriers. Jakes’ goal for his patients, and clients, is for them to feel confident in the rehab process, and meet their goals, so they can lean into all aspects of life through fitness and health.
